Geological & Technical Compliance Review

Last Updated: May 2026

Back to Main Landing

RGC Exploration operates under strict compliance with geological best practices, reporting guidelines, and environmental frameworks. This document compiles our geological compliance summary, based primarily on the historical NI 43-101 Technical Report for our Rogers Gold Man Property in the Cariboo Mining District of British Columbia, Canada.

NI 43-101 Geological Disclosure Standard:
All technical and resource estimation information presented on this website is conceptual in nature. Currently, no modern mineral resource or mineral reserve has been established on the property. All historic resource assessments are strictly for geological context.

1. Overview of the Land Package

The Rogers Gold Man Property consists of a consolidated, contiguous package of claims spanning approximately 1,179.56 hectares (approximately 2,914.69 acres) situated in the historic Cariboo Mining District of British Columbia. This package is structured as follows:

  • Mineral Claims: 14 distinct mineral claims covering an area of 835.67 hectares (2,064.94 acres). These claims secure the rights to explore deep bedrock targets, including the primary hard-rock orogenic quartz-vein systems.
  • Placer Leases & Claims: 3 placer leases and 4 placer claims spanning 343.89 hectares (849.75 acres), securing the rights to rich pre-glacial, inter-glacial, and post-glacial gold-bearing gravel channels.

2. Geological Context & The Toop Paleochannel

Geologically, the property is centered over a deeply buried Tertiary (pre-glacial) paleochannel system known as the Toop Placer Workings. Discovered by geologist Terry Toop in 1969, the channel is characterized by an exceptionally rich basal gravel deposit resting on weathered, fractured bedrock.

Historical mining data confirms the following parameters for the main paleochannel:

  • Channel Thickness: Ranging from 1.5 to 7.62 meters.
  • Channel Width: Measured between 53 and 76 meters.
  • Explored Length: Proven over at least 488 meters, with geophysics indicating extensive lateral continuations along Mary Creek, Alice Creek, and the John Boyd region.

3. Historical Production and Recovery Audit

Placer gold extraction at the property has historically yielded significant coarse-gold production. Between 1969 and 1990, active operations processed approximately 30,600 cubic meters (40,000 cubic yards) of basal paleochannel gravels using simple gravity-recovery washing plants. This resulted in the recovery of approximately 6,000 troy ounces (186.62 kilograms) of high-purity gold.

This historical recovery represents an average recovered grade that supports RGC Exploration’s current exploration targets of 0.5 – 2.5 g/m³. However, investors are cautioned that past recovery is not indicative of future performance.

4. Bedrock Targets and Orogenic Systems

While immediately focused on commercial placer production, the long-term exploration upside is driven by primary bedrock targets. The gold-bearing gravels of the Mary Creek paleochannel are geologically linked to the underlying orogenic quartz-vein system. Similar quartz-vein clusters in the immediate district form the basis of multi-million ounce hard-rock deposits.

Our Phase 2 and Phase 3 roadmap incorporates systematic Reverse Circulation (RC) and Diamond core drilling targeting these structural zones to verify the hard-rock gold source.

5. QP Verification Statement

The technical information regarding the property history, claims, lithology, and historical production is derived from the official "NI 43-101 Technical Report — Historical Review on the Rogers Gold Man Property", authored by Terry David Garrow, P.Geo, dated May 1, 2010. Mr. Garrow acted as an independent Qualified Person (QP) under Canadian National Instrument 43-101 guidelines. RGC Exploration is currently preparing updated technical filings in compliance with modern CIM Definition Standards.
